Art and Business Really Go Together!
Barbara Hart joins the world of business with the world of art by offering visual artists an opportunity to display and sell their work in businesses that want to support artists. The art is rotated on a regular basis, so each establishment has a fresh wall decor.
The art “shows” can be themed, or be a solo presentation by one individual. Artists are encouraged to price their work for sale, and those who frequent the business may purchase the work through Barbara.
Businesses are encouraged to promote the art as part of their ongoing advertising, as patrons will want to stop by to see what’s new on the walls.
If you have a business that is currently displaying art on a monthly basis, and wish to have someone take over the art coordination, or if you are considering a program that supports the arts, Barbara will be happy to talk to you.

About Barbara Hart
Barbara Hart is an agent for Horace Long Photography, and works with numerous artists to place their work in local businesses. Born in Pasadena, California, she majored in art and art history in Los Angeles, and was part of the “art scene” in that area. She moved to the Portland metro area in 2005, where she continues to meet and advocate for the arts.
